Our Story

How we got here

Our journey began at London Business School, where an easy friendship slowly became something more. Between studying, long chats, and walks to Millennium Bridge, we found comfort in each other during one of the busiest chapters of our lives.

Since then, we have travelled the world together, from Europe to Patagonia, Egypt, New York, & beyond. Travel became one of the ways we connect most deeply: curious, adventurous, and always happiest when side by side.

On paper, we may seem like opposites: one bubbly and all over the place, the other calm, grounded, and quietly confident. But somehow, it just works.

Through it all, the best part has stayed the same: we are still best friends.

FAQs

Wedding Weekend
Plan to arrive by the morning of Tuesday, 8 December so you're settled in time for the Welcome Lunch at 1:00 PM. Your stay at Indana Palace is hosted on the nights of the 8th and 9th. Many guests come a few days early to explore — see the India Travel Guide for ideas.
Everything takes place at Indana Palace, Jaipur — across the Grand Lawn, the Grand Ballroom, the poolside, and the dining hall. The full running order is on the Schedule page.
A bit of both. The Welcome Lunch, Haldi, and Wedding Ceremony are outdoors (the lawns and poolside), while the Reception & Sangeet is indoors in the Grand Ballroom. December evenings turn cool, so bring a light layer for the outdoor events.
Absolutely — and plenty of it. Every event includes food, from a Rajasthani welcome lunch to lavish dinners, with generous vegetarian options throughout. Come hungry.
Just let us know in advance and we'll take care of it. Indian cuisine offers loads of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, and we'll make sure the kitchen knows about anything important.
Yes, please do — we'd love to see the weekend through your eyes. We'll also have a professional photographer, and we may ask for a few phones-down moments during the ceremonies so everyone can be fully present.
We completely understand — life happens. Please let us know as soon as you can so we can adjust arrangements. You'll be dearly missed.
For anything at all, message us directly on WhatsApp or in the wedding group. We're always happy to help.
Travel & Stay
Most non-Indian passport holders do. Many nationalities are eligible for India's convenient e-Visa, applied for online before you travel at the official portal (indianvisaonline.gov.in). Travellers with an OCI card don't need one. Apply around 3–4 weeks ahead, and always confirm the latest requirements for your nationality.
You can fly directly into Jaipur, or into Delhi and continue by a short domestic flight, train, or car. If you're making a trip of it, the India Travel Guide lays out a relaxed route through Delhi and Agra before Jaipur.
Jaipur International Airport (JAI) is closest to the venue. Many international guests will find the best long-haul options into Delhi (DEL) or Mumbai (BOM), then take a short domestic flight, train, or car to Jaipur.
Your stay at Indana Palace, Jaipur is hosted for the nights of Tuesday, 8 December and Wednesday, 9 December, so you'll be right where the celebrations are.
For the wedding nights at Indana Palace, no — we'll share room details closer to the date. If you're arriving before 8 December or staying on after 10 December, please book those extra nights separately.
Of course — travelling together is half the fun. Message us and we'll happily connect you with other guests or add you to the wedding WhatsApp group.
In cities, Uber and Ola are easy and inexpensive, and auto-rickshaws are everywhere. For longer journeys, domestic flights and trains work well, and hiring a car with a driver is affordable for day trips.
The smoothest option is an eSIM (such as Airalo) set up before you land. Otherwise you can buy a local SIM (Airtel or Jio) on arrival with your passport and visa — activation can take a few hours, so the eSIM is the easier route.
Message us directly on WhatsApp or post in the wedding group. If you're at the hotel, the Indana Palace front desk can also help with cars, directions, and local questions.
Packing, Health & Comfort
Each event has its own attire guide — green for the Welcome Lunch, your homeland's finest for the Sangeet, yellow for the Haldi, and dress-to-impress for the Wedding. The full guide, with colour palettes, is on the Schedule page. Bring comfortable shoes and a layer for cool evenings.
Yes, absolutely. Delhi and Jaipur are both great places to buy Indian outfits, jewellery, and accessories. If you plan to shop after arriving, leave some room in your luggage and try to buy early in case tailoring is needed.
December in Jaipur is lovely — warm, sunny days around 22–26°C (72–79°F) and cool evenings that can dip to 8–12°C (46–54°F). Pack a shawl or light jacket for the outdoor evening events.
Carry some small rupee notes for tips, bazaars, auto-rickshaws, and little purchases. You don't need to carry huge amounts; ATMs are common in cities, and cards work in many hotels, restaurants, and larger shops.
Cards are accepted in many hotels, restaurants, and bigger shops. Apple Pay can be hit or miss, so keep a physical card and some cash with you, especially for markets, taxis, and smaller vendors.
Best not to — stick to bottled or filtered water (there'll be plenty on hand) and skip ice from unknown sources. Bottled water is inexpensive and available everywhere.
Bring any personal prescriptions, a basic stomach remedy, rehydration sachets, sunscreen, hand sanitiser, comfortable footwear, a light jacket or shawl for evenings, and a universal adapter. India uses Type C, D, and M plugs, 230V.
Gifts & Fun
To get you in the spirit, a few of our favourites: Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (the classic), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (a wedding in movie form), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, 2 States, and Band Baaja Baaraat. Bonus points if you learn a few dance steps for the Sangeet!
Do you have a registry?

Having you travel across the world to celebrate with us is the greatest gift of all — and as is our tradition, your stay is on us. If you'd still like to mark the occasion with a contribution toward our next chapter together, we'd be truly touched.
